The Miami Curve won yet another championship by defeating a very tough Pascual team that never quit playing the game.  All of the games were close and low scoring games dominated by pitching and defense.  Many of our hitters struggled.  The team was led by our leadoff and second hitter whom were Johnny and Justin Blair, they set the table by going a combined 13 hits out of 25 at bats, including 4 doubles by Justin.  Michael went 6 for 8 with 2 home runs and was walked on several occasions and Gabriel went 5 for 8 with 1 home run and was walked on several occasions as well.  Gabriel dominated on the hill as he continued to be one of the better pitchers in our division, Christopher Torres (Tito) came in and closed out the last inning of the championship game as he cooled down the ever persistent Pascual batters.  Michael caught extremely well during the post season and our infield defense was solid, led by Brandon Laboy whom made several excellent plays at third base.  Hats off to both teams as they both played excellent baseball as the Curve can now be called the 2007 MYBA 12U CHAMPIONS !!
